Without a national dialogue between the various stakeholders in Ethiopia, there will be no winners in this conflict.
The best America can do now is to shed the superior-inferior stereotypes, listen and have a sober dialogue that will lead to empathy, shared commitment and a peace rooted in justice and recognition of shared humanity.
